Desiring to downsize from a large home in Washington DC, these clients opted to purchase 2 adjacent condo units in the coveted Parc Somerset Building in Chevy Chase, MD. The existing units had the existing finishes from when the buildings were originally constructed and were subdivided into many small rooms . The goal of the project was to open up many of the public spaces, combine the 2 units to allow for a true Owners bedroom suite, maximize ceilings by removing bulkheads wherever possible, and provide a clean, crisp aesthetic upon which to showcase a few selected and prized artworks.

Studio 360 redesigned the 2 units into one cohesive plan, navigating a complex approval process with both the county and building officials. The existing fireplace was given a facelift and new linear gas fireplace was installed with zebrina marble slabs. Custom black metal pocket doors define a more private dean with a custom bar. The updated kitchen boasts all Miele appliances and custom cabinetry throughout the condo was provided by Konst Siematic. Interior designer Jodi Berger of JLA Designs worked with the clients to provide furnishings and finishes that compelted the vision. BOWA provided highly detailed craftsmanship to accomplish the modern detailing, custom doors, and meticulous install of HVAC, electrical, fire supression, and plumbing systems in unique ways.
